Portfolio Prep

ICA Miami’s Portfolio Prep prepares students for the competitive art school application process through sketchbook-building exercises, technical skill development, and portfolio review.  Students will learn foundational drawing and observation skills as well as experiment with different mediums of art. Additionally, students will have opportunities for field trips to local museums, artist studios, and galleries. Throughout the program, instructors provide an overview of art magnet schools’ application and audition requirements as well as expectations for students accepted into local art magnet schools.
