"Size Matters: A Members Exhibition"

The Lake Wales Arts Council invites its members to explore the fascinating relationship between scale and meaning in the visual arts through our juried exhibition, “Size Matters.” This exhibition challenges artists to consider how the physical dimensions of their work shape its emotional, conceptual, and spatial impact—whether commanding attention through monumental presence or drawing viewers closer with intimate detail.

In a world that often equates importance with size, this exhibition invites a reexamination of proportion and perception. A small work can carry immense power; a large work can express delicate vulnerability. Artists are encouraged to experiment boldly, to let scale become a creative tool that transforms how their art is seen, felt, and understood.
